The Leader’s Call When Strategy Needs to Become Execution

Growth is exciting—until it creates complexity.

Projects multiply. Priorities compete. Teams become overloaded. Systems stop communicating with one another. Vendors need direction. Leadership has a vision, but execution slows down.

At that point, organizations do not need another report filled with recommendations. They need an experienced leader who can step in, understand what is happening, create structure, align the right people, and move the work forward.

That is the work I do.

I am a PMP-certified Senior Project Manager, Strategic Operations Leader, Fractional COO, and Go-to-Market executive available for fully remote, fractional, interim, consulting, and contract engagements.

My role is to connect strategy to execution—and ensure important initiatives don't get trapped in planning meetings.

A Strategic Operator Who Also Gets the Work Done

Many leaders are strong strategists. Others are excellent project managers. My value comes from combining both capabilities.

I can look at the organization from an executive perspective while also working through the details required to complete the initiative:

  • What is the actual objective?

  • What decisions are delaying progress?

  • Which resources are required?

  • Where are the risks and dependencies?

  • Which stakeholders need to be aligned?

  • What process is creating friction?

  • What does success look like?

  • Who owns the next step?

I do not believe strategy and execution should be separated. A plan creates value only when it translates into clear priorities, assigned ownership, measurable milestones, and completed deliverables.

Managing Complexity Across Multiple Workstreams

I currently manage approximately 25–35 concurrent projects per day across companies, agencies, freelancers, influencers, vendors, and internal teams.

The initiatives may include creative development, technology implementation, marketing campaigns, websites, product development, manufacturing, signage, displays, vendor management, business transformation, and operational improvement.

That level of volume requires more than organization. It requires judgment.

Priorities change. Resources become unavailable. A vendor misses a deadline. A budget shifts. A new opportunity appears. An executive decision changes the project direction.

My approach is to clarify the change, assess its impact, reset expectations, reallocate resources, communicate decisions, and maintain accountability. That allows teams to adapt without losing control of the larger business objective.

Why Organizations Bring Me In

Organizations typically engage me when they are experiencing one or more of the following:

  • Rapid growth

  • Operational fragmentation

  • Delayed or stalled initiatives

  • Inconsistent processes

  • Too many projects and too few resources

  • A technology or AI implementation

  • A market launch or expansion

  • A turnaround or recovery

  • A restructuring or leadership transition

  • Misalignment between marketing, sales, and operations

  • Vendor, supply chain, or procurement challenges

  • The need for senior leadership without a full-time executive hire

I can join as a remote Senior Project Manager, Program Manager, PMO Leader, Fractional COO, Operations Manager, Go-to-Market Leader, Fractional CMO, or strategic advisor.

A Record of Commercial and Operational Impact

My background extends well beyond traditional project administration.

I have led a three-year business recovery that generated more than $2 million in profit through operational restructuring, technology modernization, international procurement, supply chain improvements, vendor optimization, and distribution expansion.

I have secured licensing partnerships, supported U.S. market entry, managed international production, transformed operational processes, led technology implementations, and built marketing and go-to-market programs.

My experience includes international work across the United States, France, Italy, Spain, Holland, England, and China. I have managed initiatives involving sourcing, manufacturing, product development, import/export, logistics, distribution, licensing, marketing, and commercial growth.

This combination gives me the ability to identify both opportunity and risk.

I understand how a strategic decision affects the budget, how a production delay affects the launch, how an inefficient workflow affects profitability, and how unclear accountability affects the entire organization.

Building a Business Through Trust

I founded and led Designs Group Consulting, first as a nationwide full-service marketing agency and later as a strategic advisory and turnaround consulting firm.

Over more than 12 years, the business served more than 350 clients. Approximately 88% of those clients were acquired through referrals.

That level of referral growth was built by helping clients solve meaningful business problems—not by delivering generic recommendations.

As a consultant and fractional executive, I have helped organizations:

  • Clarify business and marketing strategies

  • Improve operational performance

  • Restructure workflows

  • Strengthen brand positioning

  • Develop go-to-market plans

  • Improve customer acquisition

  • Build sales enablement programs

  • Implement technology

  • Manage change

  • Coordinate vendors and teams

  • Recover from underperformance

  • Create more scalable operating models

The objective has always been practical: help the organization perform better and become more capable of sustaining that performance.

Enterprise Project Leadership

As Marketing Director and company-wide Project Manager for the Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association, I led initiatives across accounting, administration, recreation, public services, public works, golf, police, and fire departments.

The work included permitting and inspections software, community gate access technology, an IT systems overhaul, a visitor golf application, fishing licenses, boat rentals, the “Gold Rental” property validation program, and community-wide marketing initiatives.

I managed the full project lifecycle:

  1. Research and requirements gathering

  2. Vendor evaluation and competitive bidding

  3. Budgeting and business-case development

  4. Board presentations and approval

  5. Procurement and implementation

  6. Training and change management

  7. Performance monitoring and operational improvement

I also developed and managed events including open houses, an annual triathlon, a Zombie Run, a motorcycle and scooter show, and a flash mob event. These initiatives achieved approximately 85% paid sponsorship participation and supported community engagement, visitor traffic, brand awareness, and home sales.

The Advantage of a Broad Operating Perspective

My experience crosses industries and functions.

I have worked in or supported:

  • Real estate

  • Healthcare

  • Fashion and apparel

  • Finance

  • Manufacturing

  • Supply chain

  • Hospitality

  • Food services

  • Wellness

  • Nonprofits

  • Private communities

  • Marketing and advertising

  • Technology and digital transformation

This breadth helps me recognize patterns quickly. A workflow problem in one industry may resemble a vendor issue in another. A communication breakdown may actually be a governance problem. A stalled project may be suffering from unclear scope rather than a lack of effort.

I look beyond the immediate symptom to identify the underlying issue.

How I Work

My approach is structured but practical:

  1. Clarify the objective.  Define what the organization is trying to accomplish and why it matters.

  2. Assess the current state.  Identify gaps in people, processes, systems, budgets, communication, and accountability.

  3. Align the stakeholders.  Ensure leadership, teams, vendors, and partners understand the priorities and their responsibilities.

  4. Build the operating plan. Create milestones, owners, timelines, dependencies, risk controls, and reporting structures.

  5. Execute and adapt. Move the work forward while responding intelligently to changing conditions.

  6. Measure the result. Track progress, performance, benefits, adoption, efficiency, revenue, profitability, or other agreed-upon outcomes.

The goal is not to create unnecessary bureaucracy. The goal is to create enough structure for people to make progress confidently.

Remote Leadership Without Losing Accountability

Remote work requires intentional communication, clear ownership, and disciplined follow-through.

I am comfortable working with distributed teams, executives, agencies, freelancers, vendors, and international partners. I use structured communication, documented decisions, project visibility, milestone tracking, and consistent accountability to keep work moving across locations and time zones.

Remote leadership should not mean remote involvement. I remain engaged in the details that affect delivery while maintaining the executive perspective needed to protect the broader business objective.

The Value I Bring

Organizations work with me when they need someone who can:

  • Bring order to complexity

  • Lead without excessive bureaucracy

  • Understand both strategy and execution

  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Coordinate diverse stakeholders

  • Improve processes and accountability

  • Identify risks before they become expensive problems

  • Lead technology and AI implementation

  • Strengthen marketing and go-to-market execution

  • Improve operational and financial performance

  • Take ownership of critical initiatives

  • Step into an organization and create momentum quickly

I am organized, commercially minded, adaptable, and comfortable in environments where the plan changes.

Most importantly, I take responsibility for moving the work forward.

Let’s Turn Priorities Into Progress

Every organization has important initiatives that are waiting for greater clarity, stronger coordination, or experienced leadership.

If your organization is growing, restructuring, launching, transforming, recovering, or managing more projects than your current team can absorb, I can help.

I am available for fully remote:

  • Senior project management

  • Program and portfolio management

  • PMO leadership

  • Fractional COO engagements

  • Senior operations leadership

  • Go-to-market strategy and execution

  • Fractional CMO support

  • Business transformation

  • Turnaround and recovery initiatives

  • Technology and AI implementation

  • Contract and project-based work

  • Strategic advisory engagements

When strategy needs to become execution, I bring the structure, judgment, and hands-on leadership required to make progress measurable.

Clarify the objective. Align the resources. Improve the process. Deliver the result.
